    I think that 1000kb equals 1MB.
    Have fun!

/!\ these are powers of 2, not kilograms /!\

      1 KB = "2 to the power of 10" bytes = 1024 bytes

      similarly, 1 MB = 2^(10) KB = 1024 KB

So, once again and as usual: kilo = 1000 whether it’s grams, bytes, meters, or anything else kilo means 10^3 and nothing else...

For 2^10 or 1024 it's kibi and not kilo.

For manufacturers, kilo = 1000, but for computer scientists, kilo = 1024.
      Therefore, 1kB = 1000bytes, and 1KiB = 1024 bytes.
      Similarly, 1MB = 1000kB, and 1MiB = 1000KiB ;)
