Novistar Powerwave 15 Speaker

Hello, I want to buy speakers with a separate amplifier. I looked at the Novistar Powerwave 15 speakers with the AMP 1000 amplifier, but I have no idea how they perform. I would like to hear from knowledgeable people because I plan to host events with about 50 people maximum, and since I know nothing about this, I would like to know if this type of equipment would be suitable. Thanks for your comments.

Configuration: Windows Vista / Chrome 23.0.1271.64

    Hi.

An ex-sound engineer and musician speaking to you. I strongly advise against this equipment.
I'm not going to give you a lecture on sound engineering, but know that the volume parameters are very important. People in the room absorb sound themselves.
The amplifier must never be turned up to the max, or it will lead to quick destruction.
And with 25 cm woofers, it’s going to be hard to get good bass, or else at home! Give me your maximum budget to see what we can do...

    See you...

You don't understand anything about sound. I don't know anything about Novistar speakers, but when it comes to the size of a woofer, 25 cm can deliver very good bass; size has nothing to do with it.

Aggressive, huh buddy! I learned about sound systems through courses, and that was at twenty-five. I worked in this field as a sound technician and musician until my retirement at 60, meaning 1,381 gigs during that time. I've done sound both indoors and outdoors. Now, if you want to give me a morality lesson claiming I don't understand sound, I ask to see what you know!!! And when I say that 10-inch woofers are insufficient for sound reinforcement, there are good reasons for that. Coluche used to say, when you don't know, keep your mouth shut, and he was so right. My regards, buddy.
