Unable to burn VERBATIM CD-RW

Hello,

I bought a pack of Verbatim CD-RWs. I was able to use one a few weeks ago. Now when I insert a new CD, the utility launches, asking me to enter the name of the CD and then choose whether I want to use the CD like a USB flash drive or with a CD/DVD drive. I choose the first option, and a window tells me that formatting may take a long time and asks me to start the formatting process. I click ok, and after a more or less long time, I am told that formatting is impossible.
It's the same for 3 CDs (from the same pack). Could these CDs be defective, even though I was able to use one that was part of the same pack? Is it normal to format a new CD? (I don't remember if I had to format the one I used)
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. The CD burner is an integrated burner on the MSI laptop.

    Hello,

What do you want to engrave and with which software?

It involves burning directories containing Word, Excel, pdf documents...
As for the software, apparently it's Windows 7 that launches the utility. I haven't installed any specific software.

Thank you for the tip. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I installed this software and I wanted to use it, but when I click "burn" it tells me "the burning process cannot continue because no burner has been detected."
It could be that the CDs are not the problem, but my burner is. It's a built-in burner in the computer (a MSI laptop) and I bought it only about a year ago.
