Hello,
I would like to build my own Windows tablet. I found sites that talk about a person who supposedly did it, but I’d like to get more details on compatibility and on sites that could have the parts I would need.
Thanks in advance

You can do it by yourself, without real prior knowledge contrary to what the person above said.

Or also

(type: tablet pc D.I.Y or DIY touchscreen tablet on google ;) )
Yes it's a table but it comes close
Since when do you need a degree in electronics and programming?
Just have a minimum interest or passion and it works by itself.
Don't be afraid to learn, these idiots of this kind who think you learn everything at school and you can do nothing by yourself will go nowhere in life.
Personally, I learned to program by myself and everything I know, school is only involved very little.-

I am studying computer engineering, but the majority (if not virtually all) of my knowledge comes from myself and what I learned on my own ^^'
I thank you for the compliment but I’m not especially intelligent; I start from the principle that if you really want something and you do everything to get it, you end up getting it :).
Otherwise, you have to start from the idea that what we buy was made by someone else beforehand and before studies existed to do that, someone discovered it and carried it out well before, so if that person succeeded, why can't we? We're not dumber than others, at worst we make a mistake and at worst? Personally I am more satisfied when I create software with my own hands rather than buy it off the shelf because it gives me something priceless... Knowledge! especially since with the internet the sharing of knowledge has never been as vast.
Not stupid are those who spit on knowledge but those who moreover dissuade others from it without any personal gain (notably on the pretext that they themselves don’t feel capable).
Ps: for those who doubt it, there are truly exciting things like here: http://www.semageek.com/diy-un-russe-transforme-sa-voiture-en-avion/ :). -

If he wants help, he’ll get it; no need to pollute his topic with stuff like (you won’t make it)
It’s in mistakes that we learn, not in fleeing from the difficulty.
People who belittle others will always end up with nothing for themselves.
Because he’s not progressing.
Go for it, kid, and keep us posted on your progress.
