Hello,
I recently purchased Philips SPA5300 speakers. They work perfectly when I connect my iPod or my phone to the jack. But when I plug in my Asus PC, I encounter a problem: the subwoofer stops working. This is very annoying for watching movies or listening to music... I should mention that I'm not very good with computers... Is there a special setting to make? Is this normal? HELP!!!

Typically the kind of comment that doesn't move things forward...

Hello, I found myself facing the same problem when I bought my Toshiba PC (Windows 8) and it turned out to be just a bad configuration of the sound card. Since then, the subwoofer has been working wonderfully.

I have the same problem but even more annoying, the sound cuts out by itself every 5 minutes and the light on the dial goes off. No matter how many times I do the on/off manipulation on the subwoofer, nothing works, it doesn't function!
It's really great for a product I received yesterday, first day of use, and now nothing works, I'm furious, I will never buy from Philips again, I hope my electric shaver doesn't "cut out" by itself tomorrow morning (yes, I received it today).
If anyone has a solution, even though I doubt it, let us know!
Thank you! -
Hi,
Start > Control Panel > Device Manager > Sound Controller, give me the model that appears.
