I converted my mp3 file to aac and the phone doesn't accept it as ringtones, I don't think the problem comes from there because in the list of preloaded ringtones, we see both mp3 and aac
so we need to find something else to set them as ringtones :( -
Hello everyone
I managed to put an AAC ringtone in the documents. I'm so happy. The problem is that it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to select it to work when I receive a call.
HAS ANYONE ever managed to get the ringtone to work? If so, how did you do it?
Thank you for your collaboration -
Hi,
I think we need "My Pictures and Sounds" as a log and of course the USB cable.
See you later

Hi,
I also have a Sagem my501ci and it's a pain to put ringtones since it doesn't accept mp3s...
But I found a site that converts mp3s into ringtones:
https://www.unibet.de/general-info/info/about-us?mktid=1:1419722:8389-3231
It takes longer but it's worth it!! -
Faut-il un logiciel pour transférer de la musique d'un ordinateur vers son portable ?
Si oui, lequel ? -
Hi
Even by uploading an aac file to my phone, I can't select it as a ringtone.
Do I need to use a micro SD card?
Without the micro SD card, is there a way to upload a song of my choice as a ringtone? If so, what formats are supported?
Thank you -
yes, you need the SD
you need to download the music transformed into aad
then copy it to the documents on the phone
after that, you just need to select it as a ringtone -
Hello!
I'd like to put an excerpt from a piece of music (about a 10-second intro) on my Sagem. I thought I could do it by sending myself a MMS with the audio file, then saving it in my ringtones. But how do I extract it from a CD and make a file that small?
Thank you in advance for your help, I hope I was clear! -
So you need to encode it with software like iTunes. iTunes makes .aac files, I believe (to be verified). If that's not the case, you'll need to convert your music file to .aac with another software.
That's what I know how to do. I'm stuck on the ringtone installation part on the phone. I have the My501Ci and Bouygues has restricted that phone, it's crazy! -
Hi, it's since my breakdown that Sagem has blocked it for me; everything was working before.

Hi, I have the same phone: first, you need to connect it to your computer (obviously), and the location where you have your files, videos, photos, contacts, you need to put them here.
After that, unplug your phone and go to my personal space and you will see "My microsd". There, you go on it and at the bottom, you should normally find the music you added and you just have to make your choice/add to the player (or to the playlist).
Have a nice day. -
Hello everyone, I hope someone will be able to solve my problem regarding my Sagem My501C...
I can install the driver and the software for this phone on my computer. My phone can connect to my computer, so far everything is fine. The only issue is that while a song is being sent to my phone, my phone shows "refused"... The computer then asks me to turn off my phone and turn it back on. I did that, but without success. What should I do?? Thank you for your response. -
hi everyone!!
I also made the mistake of buying the Sagem my501ci!! The design is nice for sure, but in terms of functionality, it's a mess!!
I studied the beast for a long time, I bought the famous SD card and I also downloaded software to convert MP3 files to AAC.
Even so, when I select the song I want as a ringtone, the screen turns completely white, the phone shuts down, and even if it stays on 1 time out of 5, the people calling me end up on my voicemail.
Maybe the issue lies in the length of the songs?!!!!
Anyway, it's a total mess SOS! -
Help,
I tried to set MP3s as ringtones on my phone by changing the file format and my phone (Sagem My700xi) has crashed badly, with a blank screen and nothing works. I've tried turning it off, turning it back on, removing the battery or the SD card, but nothing helps.
Please help me if you know how I can restart it normally, thank you in advance. -
yes indeed it's crap
even if we convert to AAC, it refuses to take the file as a ringtone because there is no C for "copyright" next to the said file...
does anyone have a solution?? -
Hello,
I managed to set a music as a ringtone. First, you need to convert the mp3 file to aac format. Then, go to my documents, then to the micro SD, navigate to the file in aac format, select it, copy it to the folder. Return to the phone, go to my sounds, select it and copy the file in aac format will now be on your phone and no longer on your SD card. Then, you can set this music as a ringtone. There you go. -

Bonjour - pardon !
Merci
