PSN Account: Forgotten password and email address that no longer exists

Hello,
I have a problem with my PS3. It connects automatically all the time, so I usually don’t have any issues. But today I want to make a purchase on the PlayStation Store. I need to enter my password to input my credit card information. The problem is that I forgot my password and when I click on "forgot password", they send me a link to change my password to my old email address which no longer exists. Therefore, I can’t receive the email. I need to keep this account. Does anyone know how I can recover my password?

P.S.: I saw online that there was a method to recover it using a security question, but I can’t seem to access that question.

If your old email address no longer exists, you can recreate the same one in order to recover your password. However, if it has never been closed, the only solution would be to regain access to that email address.
