How to switch from Creative mode to Survival in Minecraft?

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to change the "game mode" of a Minecraft world from creative to survival (and from survival to creative while we're at it). Please describe the process as I'm not very skilled with computers.

It's quite simple, and you have several solutions for that.
If you have a version greater than or equal to 1.3, you can use the built-in cheat command bar by enabling it when creating the world, and then open the console with the chat key and type one of the following two commands:
"/gamemode 1" to switch to creative
"/gamemode 0" to switch to survival
You also have the option to do it with mods, which have the advantage of being available for most existing versions, even the oldest ones.
For example, there is "Not enough items" and "too many items" that add a more comprehensive menu where you can change the weather, gamemode, time of day... with simple buttons!
Another mod is Single Player Commands, with which you can do many fun things, but the list of commands is so long that I'll let you discover it.
There are others, of course, but you will find them on Minecraft mod sites with descriptions that can help you more.
