Hello,
My HP PSC 1315 printer no longer feeds paper. I’ve tried various troubleshooting steps found on the Internet; nothing works!!
Should I consider my printer to be "dead" while scanning works fine.
Is it possible to open it? and how?
I get no error message on my computer screen, it seems fine to him!!!
Thank you in advance for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Finding the same might be possible, but based on the budget you can allocate for a printer, why not look at new devices?
What tends to work well globally in the printer world includes Ricoh, HP, and Canon to consider. -
Hello,
At first glance, it would seem more like a hardware problem. The rubber rollers that feed the paper are themselves driven by a motor connected (I think) to a control board. The screws of the cover can be underneath the device, at the back, or even on the sides. A label can also hide a screw: you need to look everywhere carefully.
However, if your printer is still under warranty, take it to after-sales service (S.A.V.). -
Thank you for your quick response,
I think you’re right about the hardware issue... my printer is from 2005, no longer under warranty.. but I would like to get the same one ???
A repair could cost me more than a new one... alas! -
