Hello, I have an appointment at Greta on the 18th regarding a BTS SIO in software option, and I would like to get some information and advice.
First of all, I noticed that the program lasts 9 months instead of a year; can you tell me more about that? I find it strange to split the duration in two; do we really have enough time to cover everything? Do we have the same number of hours? Does this BTS from Greta provide a true bac +2 or just a level bac +2?
Also, do you know how the interviews are conducted there? What tests and questions are asked, how should I "react"?
I’m a bit stressed and would appreciate some help, thank you in advance.

Some explanations.
People who are preparing a diploma in a vocational training organization (like GRETA, CCI, the Chamber of Trades, AFPA...) are generally older and therefore more mature than students who continue their education in National Education. They tend to have more willpower, determination, and motivation.
The organization of the training is not the same: French or English hours are fewer; physical education or history-geography classes are replaced by technology, technical drawing, or workshop hours; there are not 24 or 26 hours of classes per week, but closer to 32. Business placements are more significant and closely monitored. Teaching methods are better suited. Class sizes are generally smaller.
Therefore, a year of such training yields the same results and the same pass rates on the exam as two school years; the only real difference is that general education being very little present, the finality of these trainings is not the continuation of studies (Bac, DUT) but entry into the workforce, "active life."
