GRETA tests

OK but becoming a DBA (Database Administrator) isn't too complicated; you need to know how to design databases, manage them, and install a good RDBMS like Oracle... But afterwards, you need to be willing to make a lot of sacrifices (come to work on weekends and holidays if the database crashes, always question yourself and keep up to date with new technologies...) On the other hand, it pays really well. I want to do it too, and I've done my research, that's why I'm telling you this.

If you can't get in with the GRETA, you can try the GPIB training (Computer Park and Database Manager), that's what I'm doing. It's organized by the IGS group, it takes a year in alternating weeks, one week on, one week off, where you do systems (installing Linux, Windows...) and also database management, which might interest you.
