Hello,
I have a sound issue with my Toshiba Satellite P500 laptop. The speakers have been crackling and popping for the last 15 days. I connected in-ear headphones, but the phenomenon persists.
During this time, I accidentally deleted several large image folders that were important to me. I downloaded several file recovery software like Recuva, Undelete360, Restoration, EaseUS Partition Recovery and connected a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex external hard drive.
>I uninstalled the file recovery software
>I tried all sampling rates and speaker resolutions from "16 bits, 44100Hz (CD Quality)" to "24 bits, 192000Hz (Studio Quality)"
But my problem persists. The sound is still crackling. It’s very unpleasant.
If you have ever encountered and resolved this issue or if you simply know the solution
Thank you for your help
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello there!
As for your sound, I think it's your PC's audio settings that are affected!
According to my knowledge, the solution is as follows:
1) Click on Control Panel
2) Click on Sound Effects Manager
3) Click on AC97 Sound Configuration
4) Click on Sound Effects
Choose "Environment" and click on the field or on the Asterix (arrow) on the right pointing downwards! There, you'll get a long list of sound choices and finally, be careful, select: "(None)." And that's it!
Good luck!

I set up an environment based on your advice: no + cut-off preceded by a mic disable.. and some adjustments of sound levels. Man, thanks.
