Hyperlink display issue in Word

Hello,
The hypertext links I created in my Word 2011 documents (for Mac) are no longer displaying correctly. Instead of having the underlined word (with the link behind it), I see {HYPERLINK"http://www.....}.
When I right-click on the link and choose "select hypertext link", the word reappears and everything goes back to normal. The problem is that as soon as I reopen my Word document, everything goes back to the way it was.
I have already checked that the box "Internet and network addresses with hypertext links" is checked.
Has anyone encountered this problem before? What can I do?
Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 537.1
