Hello,
I am looking for how to write my lecture notes by including a table of contents at the beginning that allows me to directly access the topic I am looking for.
For example, a Word file that, after being converted to PDF, would become a reference guide to facilitate searching with the table of contents linking to the different modules of the written work.
I know it is possible to have a clickable menu in a PDF, but with what software (preferably free).
Thank you for your responses!!!
John

Hello,
The goal is indeed to have clickable links?
In Word, each title in a properly created table of contents is clickable: clicking on the title of the note will take you to the corresponding page, or also with the explorer.
Now, if you absolutely want a PDF, be careful, PDF Creator does not generate clickable links, it seems to me…
If you have Word 2007, it creates PDFs with clickable links. There’s an add-on to download.
More details depending on what interests you.

Indeed, I want to put all my course notes into Word (I have the latest version Office 2007) with a table of contents at the beginning. This will allow me, without further search, to go directly to the topic I want to consult with just one click.
In Word, I've never created a table of contents. I have the option to create a caption, a table of references, but not a table of contents because the tab is not clickable (???). I'm probably not doing what needs to be done.
That's all I know.
By the way, is the PDF add-on free and where can I find it?
