Hello!
I just bought a QPS Profil 35 DivX multimedia hard drive with 320 GB. The problem is that only 1/3 of the DivX files displayed on the TV are readable. For the other 2/3 of the DivX files, when you click on them to play, everything freezes and you have to turn the hard drive off and on again. Regarding the photo files in Jpeg format, the list shows gibberish and none of them open when you click on them.
Could someone tell me what I can do to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I also have an external hard drive QPS Profil35 320 GB, so the transfer of music and photos works very well for me, and when I connect everything to the TV, it works too. My problem is that I can't transfer movies to the hard drive; an error message appears telling me to check that the access path or the file name is correct!!! (this also happens for some music files). I tried moving the file, changing the name of the DivX, but nothing works; the movies are indeed in .avi format... I read above that with the software "super" one could re-encode, will that solve the problem? Thank you in advance.
Long live QPS!!!!

Hello,
I also have a QPS 320Go, and I have no problems.
All my DIVX files are playing fine.
Subtitles are not supported, and neither are MKV files.
Right now I have 50Go of DIVX on it, and I had an issue with one movie where there was a sound delay.
The problem I’m facing is with the file system which is FAT32, thus limiting the size of the files I can store on it.

Hello, I just checked the forum for help but I can't find a solution. I got this QPS hard drive for my birthday... I partitioned it in FAT32 correctly. But when I connected it to the TV and used the remote to enter the setup, instead of selecting TV, I set it to VGA and now the screen is black/grey with a black band. I pressed TV/VGA to switch back to TV mode but nothing happens. I've even changed the batteries. The remote won't show the setup; the screen is greyish with a black band in the middle. I don't know what happened. If anyone has encountered problems like this, it would be nice to share our ideas for fixes. Thanks!
Hello, I have a problem with my hard drive QPS 35 250GB. I formatted it to FAT32 as advised on the forum because it no longer recognized files on the TV. After formatting it, it is recognized on the computer, but when I open it to put a DivX or an MP3, nothing appears; it doesn't recognize anything. What should I do if you have the solution? Thank you for your response.
Hi,
I also bought this QPDX/KM multimedia hard drive
and the problem I'm having is that my DivX movies are skipping... they all work fine, but the issue is that in the middle of the movie it pauses and I wait 10 seconds to a minute, and then it starts again... sometimes it skips scenes...
So there you go, I’m super disappointed and I'm going to exchange it for a regular external hard drive...
At the beginning, I was going through the menus and it was lagging like crazy to display the DivX, well I found the trick to go directly to "File" with the remote...
So I'm really disappointed, because it was quite convenient... but if the DivX are skipping, and there’s a delay after sound/image... it’s not worth it!!
I think I’ll go back to CDs... it’s stupid!! It’s really shameful!!
Don’t buy this brand anyway!!!! bye mic

Hello, I just bought my dd qp3dx/km and for now I have no problems, everything works and the subtitles are displaying well, but all your comments make me a little worried, so I'm hesitant to return it and since I'm in the legal 14-day period to give it back, I'm wondering. I didn't need to format it during installation; it is well recognized by the PC and on my TV, and the quality is very acceptable given that I’m viewing it on a 50-inch plasma using "yuv," so if it were bad, I would notice right away... to be continued anyway...
I also bought this external hard drive this week at Auchan and I'm going to return it... I can't even transfer a divx file from my PC to the hard drive.
I don't understand how you do it because everything works well for me in transfer... reading of all kinds... there must be several models, it's not possible otherwise. Notice that for once the troubles aren't falling on me lol...
Hi, I just bought the QPS3DX/KM hard drive in 400GB. I hope everything is still working fine on your end. I just got mine, but I haven't set it up yet because I work all day and didn't have time yesterday.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling about my life.
But please reassure me, tell me that it works correctly!!!

Same problem as NONO, a large majority of video transfers fail (file not found on hard drive). I bought a QP3DX 400 Go on Friday, May 25th, and took it back to the Auchan customer service the next day. The technicians formatted the HDD to FAT 32, adding the 4 necessary folders for the proper functioning of this multimedia HDD (File / Photos / Music / Video), folders that were unfortunately absent at the time of purchase (which shows the quality of this product). The problem remains the same: I still can't transfer my divx (not corrupted as they were checked with the GSPOT utility). I'll return it tomorrow... AVOID.
hi
I just bought a qp3dx 400Go too and I have the same problem as you and Nono; it's impossible to transfer files from my PC to this HDD. I was browsing the net to see if there was anything to do, but from what I've just read, the problem is neither with me nor with my PC, so I'm going to do like you; I’m bringing it back tomorrow.

I haven't fallen for the "trap" of low-priced multimedia external hard drives sold in less specialized stores like Auchan or Conforama... it's a risk to take. I bought an external hard drive, PEEKBOX 3 320GB, three months ago, and it works like a charm. The quality of the movies I watch on TV has improved. The price was, at the time, certainly high, but it has dropped significantly now, so check out Rue du commerce.com. (http://www.rueducommerce.fr/Composants/Disques-Durs-externes/Disques-Durs-3-5-Audio-Video/PEEKTON/391286-Disque-Dur-Externe-Multimedia-3-5-Customise-par-RueDuCommerce-PEEKBOX-III-320-Go-USB-2-0.htm) Even if you're not interested, go take a look, and you'll see that the QPS QP3DX/KM is an unreliable product. Moreover, on the QPS website, their multimedia hard drive with numerous defects is nowhere to be found!
Indeed, I bought the QPS3DX/KM at Conforama.
Low price but issues with audio/video desynchronization even on MPEG-1 (VCD). And nothing on the qpsmultimedia website regarding codec updates, and I haven't seen my model on the site either.
It also does not recognize NTFS (and this is not mentioned anywhere in the documentation), so I used a Linux LiveCD to reformat it to a 400 GB FAT32 partition.
And the PHOTO, VIDEO, ... files were also not at the root of the disk (that's why I didn't have the startup menu as shown in the documentation). Was I sold a second-hand disk? (Additionally, the "included cables" specified in the documentation are missing).

Hello
I made a mistake, I formatted my QPS DX/KM 400 GB hard drive because there were files that I couldn't delete
All this to say that I deleted my multimedia codecs or drivers, so my hard drive no longer works on my TV. Is there anyone who could send them to me by email or give me an address where I can find them? I didn't find anything on the QPS website
Thank you for your help

Hello everyone
As for me, I didn't buy a QPS but a 500 GB Samsung, at Carrouf.
We can flash the firmware, which should then update the codecs, I suppose.
I have a problem with an AVI file using DivX 5.0.2 codec that is not recognized...
Maybe flashing it...
It's been a few days since I got it and I haven't had much time to play around,
but the MPG files work and some AVI files do too
See you later

Hello,
I just bought the famous QPS QP3DX/KM
I confirm that the QPS website is useless, the online catalog is from 2004, the drivers are from 2003
impossible to get it working on my PC
I think I'm going to return it
see you later

Well... some issues with the 500 MB digital hard drive
WMV files won’t play.
MP3s don’t show up in Music
To flash the firmware, in the "update" folder, I finally managed after several attempts to display the "ntd25fw.bin" file
BUT I can't activate it!!
Moreover, there is a "?" in front of it...
This suggests that it is not recognized... (valid?)
I did download Ver2.31EMC though
Has anyone else had this issue??
I will look for a discussion on Samsung's WE
