Hello,
I am reaching out because my Panasonic Viera th42px71e television has been overheating for a while! After about 30 minutes of operation, the screen goes black, but the sound works normally.
I have removed the back cover to get rid of the excess dust, but it doesn't help! When I touch it, I can feel that some components (and heatsinks) are hot, but how can I know if this is abnormal?
I have consulted the web to find similar issues but with no results! It's also worth noting that the diode next to the power button blinks green normally during startup.
I am looking for advice on how to diagnose the problem with my television; how can one determine the faulty component? I have heard about diagnostics from repair technicians based on a series of questions that ultimately determine which component needs to be replaced!
Thank you in advance for your help. I remain available for further information.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 537.1
