Hello everyone,
I just bought an MP4 player "Headmusic Tornado," and I have Windows XP PRO.
My problem is that when I connect my player to my PC, my PC doesn't recognize it. I've tried changing the USB cable but it’s the same thing; my PC doesn't recognize it, even though the cables work perfectly. The manufacturer says that for Windows XP, there’s no need for drivers, so what should I do?? Thanks for all your responses.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello
If your computer doesn't recognize it, go to "Control Panel" and find "Printers and Other Devices." Go there, and at the top left, you'll find "Add Hardware," and then you just need to follow the instructions given by the assistant.
See you!

I also had the same problem as many people, I see, my PC no longer recognized my MP4, but I discovered a small button on my MP4 // "reset" button; and since then my PC (Vista) detects it again :) So check if there is a reset button (on the MP4), it doesn't cost anything to try, the music is not deleted and everything is preserved. Well, I hope this helps you, see you soon. :)

Hello everyone,

I'm having the same issue with my Mp4. In fact, I got it for Christmas, and I directly connected it to my computer after installing the CD that came with it. I transferred some music... Then, a big mistake, I unplugged it without clicking on the "eject device" icon... A week later, my Mp4 was dead, so I plugged it into my PC, but nothing happens: my computer doesn't recognize it. I can't really explain it, but before, when I plugged it in, a window would open, and I could manage the Mp4, but now nothing happens: no window and nothing shows up in My Computer... I'm really lost because my computer recognizes my brother's Mp4 or my phone, but I recently tried a USB stick and nothing displayed in My Computer; it wouldn't open. I managed to transfer the files using Explorer, but with my Mp4, it's worse because it doesn't even appear in My Computer. So I'm daring to ask for help because I'm really lost and don't know what to do! So please help me!

Hi!! I have the same problem except that when I try to open my mp4 nothing works!

Here’s what happened: for the first time I plugged my USB cord into my mp4, but the plug wouldn’t go in, so I forced it and it finally went in, but when I tried to remove it I had to force it again and the metal end that looks like a hat on the USB cable came out of its own wire and I couldn't put it back, so I just dealt with it and plugged it back in anyway. Surprisingly, it worked and I even recorded some music, but every time the music gets to a few seconds in, I see a message telling me to wait and then it goes back to the music menu, and I start again but it does the same thing, so then I thought maybe it wasn't charged, so I charged it all night. The next morning before going to school I opened it and it was the same, so I figured I should charge my mp4 while it was open. ERROR!!! Because when I came back from school, my mp4 was off. I tried to turn it on several times but nothing happened, so I plugged it into my USB but my computer didn’t recognize it anymore and now I don’t know what to do.

Please help me

Sorry for the mistakes! :(

Hello,
simply I have exactly the same as you, keep the switch on and then hold down the M button while plugging in the USB cable; logically the drivers will install themselves

because the drivers are in the player
if you can't manage it, we can take a look at it on MSN.

Hi,
same here, I have an MP4 Fiesta MPman that was previously recognized but now Windows (XP) no longer detects it.
There are no drivers, my cable is properly connected, and I've tried a lot of troubleshooting without success; I haven't found any answers online :x

Hello, I also have this problem and I admit it's really... annoying! :D
I've had this SAMSUNG YP-S3 mp4 for over a year. At first, everything was fine; my computer recognized it and I could transfer music without any problem. One day I had a computer problem and I had to format it, since then, no matter how much I connect my mp4, it charges well, but it doesn't appear in My Computer and it no longer makes the usual noise. I'm losing hope. Is there a solution?
Please help me! :(

You need to go to "Workplace".

Click on "Removable Disk" with the left mouse button

and put "Format".

I'm the same, it doesn't show up in the workstation, and at the bottom right where you click to safely remove the device, it says device not recognized, and when I click on it, it says that the driver is not necessary or hasn't been installed. Even though I installed it from the CD. And since it wasn't working, I uninstalled and reinstalled, but nothing works, I'm desperate!!!
