Hello, I need the pin connection diagram for an RS485 cable in order to create it because I can't find it on the market.

Thank you

If the connector is an RJ45, I think it's easier to find the information online.

We often cite the theory behind the RS485 standard (or EIA 485) without providing the wire/data correspondence.

    Here it is:
    TxB wire No. 1: brown
    TxA wire No. 2: brown/white
    RxA wire No. 3: green
    RxB wire No. 4: blue/white
    TxEN wire No. 5: blue
    COMM wire No. 6: green/white
    TxB wire No. 7: orange
    TxA wire No. 8: orange/white

In RS485, the connection is half-duplex serial. IT IS POSSIBLE TO USE ONLY TWO WIRES:
    TxB wire No. 7: orange
    TxA wire No. 8: orange/white

Late response. Maybe it will help someone

    Sincerely

      ah ?
where did you find this "norm"? do you have a link to an official site that justifies it?
otherwise, it risks being more of a particular makeshift than a standard
what is unfortunate is that this wiring, in terms of colors, does not comply with the EIA/TIA 568: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TIA-568B
moreover, it does not respect the pairs regarding points 3/4.
if we only use 1/2 and 7/8, ok that may be correct, but otherwise, the assembly is not clean at all.
      here's a little addition, quite enlightening: http://www.control.com/1026201870/index_html
