Hello,
We just moved into a house that only has a satellite dish. We therefore need to buy a receiver. How can I find out which satellite I am pointed at in order to buy the right decoder?
Thanks in advance for your answers
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

if the parabola is rather oriented South/South-West, it is likely pointing to Eutelsat 5WA (formerly Atlantic Bird 3) broadcasting the Fransat packages (free) and Bis TV or Bein Sport (paid) so a Fransat decoder is required
if rather South-South-East, on Astra 1, it is a channel ready demo (tntsat free or canalsat subscription)
the HD quality is optimal via satellite TV
seen on promotion in SD starting from €69, and in HD starting from €120

I didn't know anything about satellite TV, but I bought a building with a dish, so the Sagemcom DS 81 HD package fits my setup.
Thank you.
