Hello,
I need your help to disable a key on my laptop keyboard (HP dv7).
The problem arose due to some water falling on the keyboard, the "CTRL" key at the bottom left (AZERTY keyboard) is constantly activated, I can no longer type on my PC because Windows thinks I'm using shortcuts. As a result, I can't use my computer properly and I don't want to continue using the on-screen keyboard!
If someone can help me disable this troublesome key, it would help me a lot :)
I am on Windows VISTA with an HP Dv7. If you need more information, just ask me. Thank you
PS: If a moderator could move this post to the appropriate section, that would be great :) Thank you
Alex

Hi,
I don't think you can disable a key on a keyboard.

You need to dry your keyboard.
Please let us know if it's a keyboard on a laptop or a keyboard plugged into a desktop.
Edit: Sorry, I didn't see, it's a laptop.
