Hello,
I have a USB stick that was working perfectly three days ago. Earlier, I connected it to my laptop; it lit up normally at first, but my laptop no longer detects it (not in "This PC" and there's no eject icon). I want to clarify that I always removed it AFTER clicking eject. I also tried connecting my USB stick to two other computers, and it is not detected.
On this USB stick, I have very, very, very important photos and videos, as the owners of the memory cards deleted the photos and videos, so they were only on my USB stick. And those photos and videos cannot be retrieved. I also have other important documents to recover.
Can you help me solve this problem? At least so that I can have time to copy/paste all the documents/photos/videos onto my computer.
And do you think that if I consult a computer technician, he will be able to force the detection of my USB stick long enough for me to recover my files?
Thank you for your help!

If you have your videos on your SD card, it shouldn't be a problem to retrieve them.....
Losing files is never pleasant, I agree, it creates work that we'd prefer to avoid, but on the other hand, we can't expect hardware to last forever... even if your USB drive wasn't very old, it also depends on the frequency of use... like everything!
From now on, think about backing up on two different media, even if one of them should never be used, it's a safety measure...
Best regards,
