Hello, the problem I'm encountering today is that I just bought a headset (Atari Groove Noir) but it has a microphone and only one jack plug. I would like to use it, but the problem is that if I plug my headset into an audio output, the sound from my headset is fine, but the microphone doesn't work; conversely, if I plug it into an input, the microphone works but not very well and I get no sound.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

To bounce back on this old topic that is really relevant now.
As indicated by Bielle64 and Kayalis, we can now find WiiU headsets (among others) with this connection.

Here is the URL for the adapter that allows you to connect a headset+microphone with a single jack plug to a computer with two jacks (one for audio output, one for microphone input): https://www.amazon.fr/StarTech-com-MUYHSFMM-s%C3%A9parateur-casque-broches/dp/B0058DOWH6/ref=lh_ni_t

I mention this because I mistakenly bought a WiiU headset and this thread (including Kayalis' response) helped me find this link (there are probably others).

my problem is exactly the opposite: a headset with 2 outputs (microphone and headset) and a single female jack (integrated headset/microphone), thank you
