TV connection with antenna socket and RD

Hello,

We just moved into a new apartment, and when we tried to connect the TV, we noticed there are three antenna sockets (or at least we thought there were three antenna sockets).

Actually, there is one antenna socket by itself on a "block," and another "block" that has one socket labeled RD and another labeled TV. I figured out by looking online that RD stands for radio and TV for television.

We have a TV that does not have a built-in TNT receiver, so we have a basic TNT decoder bought from a supermarket.

We have tried all connection possibilities, and nothing works!

Can someone explain to us where to connect what, because we are really lost.

Thank you.

Hello!

Check with the neighbors to find out what is upstream from these sockets: collective rooftop antenna, cable television, other... And what channels there are, what services, free or paid.

After plugging the TNT decoder into the socket, you will probably need to search for channels.

Hello The RD/TV socket is standardized, RD corresponds to the FM radio
You need to connect your receiver to the TV and do a search for TNT; check what happens on your TV. If you live in a collective housing, find out if the TV channels are the same as the terrestrial channels (antenna) or if they are "cable" channels provided by an operator like Numericable, which can sometimes be difficult to receive for certain tuners
