Hello everyone,
I would like to install my USB printer multiple times (with different print settings for each installation) on my PC with Win 7... but I don't know how to do it.
Can you help me, please... but be very clear and precise because I'm not very skilled.
Thanks in advance

<config>Windows 7

    Found on another forum:

You need to go through the control panel, printers and faxes, right-click and add a printer. Then follow the various instructions... and that's it

    Also in the CCM forums:

Because manuals don't tell you everything...
    But not nothing either, huh!

" I would like to install my USB printer several times "

    You can't. What's the point?!?

" with different print settings for each installation "

Oh okay... I see why you want to do it. But it doesn't work like that.

A printer is not a program, it's a device. You can't install it "multiple times" with different settings, like you could with a program.

For each print, you need to select the print settings if they are different from the default ones.
With some print management software, it is possible to select pre-recorded 'settings profiles'.

    Good evening Erwan,
and thank you, but I don't fully agree with you. With my previous printer (on XP and via parallel port), I installed it 4 times. Each time with a different setting: normal black, draft black, normal colors, and draft colors...
So I would like to be able to do the same with the new one via USB.
