Hello,

I have a printer that can print on A4 and A3, I had installed it twice on my XP machine so I could quickly choose the right print size. Since I switched to a Windows 7 machine, I can't find the operation to do this... How can I install the same printer twice on the same PC running Windows 7?
If you have any tips or even a solution, I would be happy to discuss it with you!
Thank you!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Mozilla 11.0

Are you sure we can install it twice on the same PC?

What I know is that it was possible with XP, but is it possible with 7? Certainly it is, I don't see why Microsoft would remove this feature from one version to another... It was quite handy after all...

    Hello.
You can use your printer with multiple systems.
You just need to install the correct driver on each system.
So, the printer driver for XP on XP and the driver for Win 7 on Win 7.

Of course, he doesn't give the brand of his printer. (It's always the same problem)
He can try in Compatibility mode or go to his printer's website and see if there is a driver available for Win 7.
Personally, I had an HP under XP and I couldn't use it under Win 7 because there was no driver.

Yes, I only have a PC running Windows 7 and I want to be able to install my printer at least twice. But I can't find the process...

poupougne13, I thank you for suggesting a topic related to my problem, but before posting mine, I did quite a bit of research and I came across the one you proposed but it doesn't offer a solution, or maybe I missed it...

I believe you can do it with the Add Printer function.

If you only have one system installed, see this.
