Hello,
I just acquired an Asus N55SF-S2496V laptop and when trying to connect it to my screen, I get a message indicating that the screen does not support the HDCP format via HDMI.
However, the screen and HDMI cable worked with my desktop.
I don't see where the problem is; if you could help me get my screen working with my laptop that would be great because I haven't been able to watch movies on my big screen for 2 weeks --".
Thank you.
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 12.0

When you connect your mobile to the TV, make a desktop extension instead of a clone.
You need to go to the display control panel or right-click on the desktop and go to the graphics card manager. -
Thank you, Stewartia, for your response.
But I already carried out this operation at the beginning, it worked, and then it stopped working; I don't understand. -
Hello,
Right-click on the Desktop > NVIDIA Control Panel.
Take a look inside. -
I had already fiddled with it, but when I came in earlier, I will fiddle with it again and I'll keep you updated.
Thank you for your help. -

Reinstall the driver, take it from the Asus website:

It's still not working.
But what's strange is that the Intel manager doesn't recognize the screen, while Nvidia does, and so does Windows. I don't understand, I've uninstalled both drivers and reinstalled them, and it still doesn't work. I'm wondering if it might be a cable issue? 1.3 since mine isn't.
The current cable worked with micro HDMI on a GTX560Ti FrozaII OC (which I'm selling if anyone's interested) with an AMD Phenom X3 processor, so there's definitely no Intel involved. It's probably the problem (Intel) that's being finicky. -
In the NVidia control panel, do you have the "HDTV" activation?

Philips SLC4 31Eab, here is the model. Sorry for the delay.

In the Device Manager, under Monitors, what name does your Philips monitor appear as?

Windows uses a generic driver for your screen.
I searched for your screen model on the Philips website, but I couldn't find anything:

Check if Windows Update is offering you a driver update for your screen.
Have you tried disabling the Intel graphics chipset to keep only the nVidia to see if that changed anything regarding your problem?
