HDMI connection brightness issue on a computer

Hello,
I recently connected my computer to my Full HD LED TV with an HDMI cable.
But when I watch movies or play video games, the brightness sometimes decreases when there aren't too many colors, and returns to normal when there are. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?

In my opinion, your TV has an option for dynamic contrast management!
Check the manual and try disabling it!
