Hello,

Here's my problem. I have no sound on my computer and I have a question mark on High Definition Audio bus. I can't seem to fix this issue even after several searches on forums. Several details:
- MSI computer
- XP version
- I haven't had sound since I made a mistake
- the device is unknown
- I'm told "No driver is installed for this device"
- when I try to update the driver, they tell me "unable to install this hardware and the hardware has not been installed because the Assistant cannot find the necessary hardware"
- and I cannot revert to the previous version.
Please help me, thank you

Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 535.19

    Hello,

In the Device Manager, right-click on "High Definition Audio Device" > Properties > Details.

In the drop-down menu, select: "Hardware Ids"

Post the details (string of numbers and letters).

Just copy the first line, that's enough.

That's to say, post the information and copy the first line.
