Hello,
I don't know if I'm on the right forum, but I have a problem with my printer. I would like to uninstall it and reinstall it, but I can't manage to do it. I changed the ink and when I tried to do a test page, it remains as a document in queue. When I try to start it, a red letter E appears. Can you please help me?
Thank you very much
Beille
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello,
The only thing you did was change the cartridges???
To uninstall a software, either you go through Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs
Or you go to the HP directory in c:\program files and look for uninstallation...
But I doubt that will help you. Rather, check if there's something in the software reserved for changing the ink...

remove the cartridge ... and check the caps ...
Maybe you forgot to remove some stickers or sealed capsules ...
$CartridgeName1$ probably means it's the last one on the right or left ...
Otherwise, on the printer icon, right-click, a command list will appear in the menu.
head cleaning ... Maybe that will be enough ...
Here are already two avenues to explore before reinstalling everything ...
Please note that it is rare to have to reinstall ...

Hello,
I haven't found the cleaning head order list; everything is well installed at the cartridge level, no sticker or sealed capsule, no paper jam, I'm completely in the dark, I think I'll uninstall it if you give me the instructions
thank you

Hello, I'm especially looking for help with my printer. It always shows this E copy button, and when I turn it on, there's a flashing light just below the button I need to press to start it. When I open Digital Imaging, I see two lines: one for the printer and the other says display status below that, close Deskjet F 300 series (copy 1).
When I try to start it, I get: parsing error in file c::program files\hp\digital imaging\bus\hpqscloc\1033.ml. I don't understand.
I'm not an expert, but I'm ready to follow your advice.
Thank you.

Hello;
After doing some research on the displayed message, it seems that the best solution would be to perform a "clean" uninstallation followed by a reinstallation of the printer >> Source here
If that's okay, I'll send you a procedure to follow
Sorry for using the informal 'you', but it's easier, shorter, etc.
Best regards

Hello; (I'm actually using the informal "you" to feel younger as well)
More seriously, thank you for checking how to uninstall the printer. It may seem lengthy, but it's actually quite simple >> If there are any problems, don't hesitate to come back

Hello,
the problem is the same, below are the details
the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource unavailable click on to try again or enter an alternate path to the folder containing the installation package AIO_CDB_softare.msi in the box below
use path c:\JACQE~1\AppData\local\temp\7zs99fd
The loading went well, I have reconnected,
There you go, I will wait for your response, as you must be on leave
Thank you

Hello;
Have you followed all the steps of the uninstallation and especially checked if there were any remnants of the previous installation of all the software for this printer? I think the best solution is to start a complete uninstallation again by following the procedure above and then carefully check for any traces before attempting the new installation: That is to say, return to the Forum.

Hello, I thought you were on leave, but I just saw that you’re not. Yes, I did follow the procedure, the only thing I couldn't do was the cleanup utility, my antivirus blocked it. So I went to search and typed in HP Deskjet F 380, but I didn't find anything. So I will uninstall it again, as you said, but I will probably have the same issue with the cleanup, but I will try and keep you updated.
Have a good afternoon
Thanks again

Hello;
If you're having issues with CleanUp Utility, you can disable your antivirus while installing, searching for, and removing the HP Deskjet F380 software if present. There is no risk >> Don't forget to reactivate it once you're done
Regarding vacations: I've been taking them for almost 6 years now, and I take them when everyone else goes back (Just kidding)
Best regards

It's Fujitsu, how do I view hidden files?
You’re going to think I’m an idiot, but I love to search, yet I’m really bad at this.
Thanks.

To display hidden files, you need to:
1-Open the Control Panel
2-Folder Options
3-View
4-Check the small round box then Apply
See these 3 images
Image-1
Image-2
Image-3
As mentioned above, then browse the path
C:/Users/Owner (your name example Jacq...)/AppData/Roaming
Do the same in this path
C:/ProgramData/.............
and in these files you should find some HP .........
Don’t forget to put hidden files back by unchecking the small box to not show hidden files then Apply
Do not try to install the printer until you are sure everything is deleted
Have you managed to install CleanUp Utility by disabling your antivirus

yes, I found some speakers but I delete them and they go to the trash, that's right, I haven't deleted anything yet,
what a Sunday I'm causing you, a thousand apologies

You didn't answer my previous question: Did you manage to install CleanUp Utility by disabling your antivirus?
That's the second thing to do after using Revo Uninstaller
Then you delete the HP from the hidden files and they go into the trash that you can empty
As for Sunday, it's not a big deal, the Forum is made for that
See you!

Indeed, I haven't disabled my antivirus, but I will do it as soon as I delete everything I found. Will this cause a problem?
If so, I'll do it right away.
Oh, if I were 20 years younger, I would switch careers to CC.
What patience you have with me, thank you again.

As mentioned above, I advise you to first do this
1-Install and use Revo Uninstaller
2-Deactivate your antivirus and then install and use Windows CleanUp Utility
3-Reactivate your antivirus
4-Show hidden files and then navigate through the paths mentioned above to delete (Recycle Bin) everything related to HP printer..
Make sure to read the procedure written above carefully

I managed to download Windows Clean Up but I can't see it in all programs, did I make a mistake? However, it's showing up in Revo Uninstaller. Ugh, I'm going to lose it and yet I'm being careful.
Windows CleanUp should indeed be in your programs but under the name Windows Installer CleanUp. If you want to launch it directly from the search bar (at the bottom left on the Windows logo), type msicuu and it will launch, and a window will open >> See this screenshot
and I think you should find something like HP ...
Before deleting this line with remove, come back to the Forum to confirm if it's all good
Catch you later

I managed to open clean, everything is in English, but I saw several HP, Photosmart
disc, HP Photosmart Essential, HP Product Assistant, Mart, and I also saw F300. Should I delete all of that? Am I on the right track!!!
I wish you a very good evening, if you are there tomorrow I will get back in touch
I allow myself to kiss you for everything

Hello
I am resuming my investigations, two things worry me, in the taskbar there is always HP Digital Monitor a red icon and a green one, in the control panel I still have the two F300 printers, is that normal? I have not reinstalled or reconnected, I hid the icon, however in Revo there's no HP left, there's still Solution Center, is that part of HP?
Have a good afternoon

Hello;
Can you detach these 2 icons from the taskbar? What surprises me a bit is that you see 2 F300 printers in the control panel because, in principle, it doesn’t contain printers; they are usually in devices and printers.
Go to devices and printers, then right-click on each of the 2 printers and then remove the device.
See this screenshot.
Solution center is part of the HP software; where is it located and can you delete it?
To summarize a bit, you did do a remove on all the lines concerning HP with Windows CleanUp Utility and then exit to leave.
Do you know how to make and send a screenshot?

I just went to the two printers in the control panel, they have always been in that location, I couldn't find where to go for devices and printers, solution center is in the hidden folders, I will delete it, yes I clicked remove,
I don't know how to do it and send a screenshot, but I'm willing to try with you

To access devices and printers, click on the Windows logo (at the bottom left) and in the window that opens, you should see Control Panel and below that, you should have Devices and Printers (I personally have Windows 7, but Vista should be the same). Otherwise, type Devices and Printers in the search box at the bottom left, and in the window that will open, you should find the path.
As for Solution Center, you can delete it from hidden files.
For screenshots: No problem, we'll look at that whenever you want, but I think we should first resolve the printer issue.
See you later.

Oulala, boo!!! I went into the HP F300 series, here’s what I found:
LPT1 HP Deskjet F300 series printer port
USBOO1 "virtual HP F300 series {copy 1}
DOT4_003 HP DEVICE
"002" "
"001" "
I have the option to delete, what should I do?

Yes, I have 2 CDs but they are not for Vista; I have had them since 2006,
1/HP Deskjet F300 SERIES Windows 98 Me, 2000, XP
2/HP VS15/VS/VS19 F1705/F1905 LCD monitor
and the manual CD
I had an HP central unit that broke down; now I have a Fujitsu. Indeed, I was previously running on XP.
