Issue: Email address with uppercase letters

Hello,

I have a small problem sending an email to one of my contacts: it's simply impossible, their address contains uppercase letters and Hotmail prevents me from including them (at least it replaces them with lowercase).

Can you please help me?

    Hi,

    There are never any capital letters in an email address.
    If you do see any on a contact's card, it’s purely for the readability of the person who will transcribe the address.

    Example: Martin.Dupont@tralala.com
    the "real" email is martin.dupont@tralala.com

      In that case, just a quick question: I found the address in a mailing list, and it was there with the capital letters. Why? Did I send my message (without the capital letters then) to an unknown person?

      No no, it's still the same person, but as I told you, it might be marked with capital letters to make it easier to read.
