Unable to connect; but while searching through the documentation, I just discovered that the "pairing" mode is unknown. ???????????????????
What is this "pairing" mode and what should I enter to no longer have "unknown"; but it may not be the cause of my inability to connect?
The TNTSAT card is not expired as I bought this decoder at BRICO DEPOT on 29/9/2011
If someone can help me, I thank them in advance.

Hello everyone,
Results of my research!!!
AXIL hotline: "the problem is due to a misalignment of the antenna. You need to search for the signal by moving the dish degree by degree, separating each movement by 3-4 seconds for the decoder to adjust."
Hotline from my Alsatian supplier: similar response, specifying that the reception tolerance would be 1 millimeter (sic) to the left or right of the optimal azimuth!!! Suggested that I equip myself with an automatic antenna. Thanks for the advice!!!
I'll get back to my controls on Wednesday hoping to find a miraculous touch.
If other digital victims have solved the problem, please don't hesitate to type away and share your technique with us. Thanks in advance. -
So in conclusion, it's TNTSAT and the decoder that don't want to tie the knot! It looks like a scalpel will be needed.
For tonight, I'm signing off here because I have some preparations to do.
See you tomorrow or later in the week for the continuation and, hopefully, the end. -
Hello, do you offer refunds or exchanges for the decoder? This one is programmed to work only with the TNSAT card: it’s the pairing of the card to the decoder, but it seems it doesn't recognize it.
Note: check the card insertion direction: insert it all the way in with the chip facing the back of the decoder and the chip directed towards the floor.
Also try: remove the card, disconnect the antenna + power plug, and follow the installation manual step by step. -
Hello Robert and others
I have the same problem as Robert with the same pairing instructions. However, I have correctly inserted the TNTSAT card with the chip facing down (barcode visible), and it is, of course, valid since it's new. No signal received and no other indications than this "unknown pairing" and "main transponder not found." Where is the solution? Thank you for any responses. -

Hello Atoumi7
I just spent part of my afternoon trying to solve the problem ... with no solution. I will call the manufacturer's hotline tomorrow (it's listed in the documentation provided with the device). But I won't be able to test the suggested solution until next Wednesday. If it works, I will let you know. -
Hi infam29, thank you for your response. I plan to go to Brico Dépôt tomorrow to ask them for a solution. I’m eagerly awaiting your reply and I will also post Brico Dépôt's response tomorrow. Have a good rest of the afternoon.

I didn't buy the decoder from Brico-D but from a supplier in Alsace (2-year warranty). I think I'll call them as well to get a tip. Maybe there's a problem with the orientation or elevation, but I took the azimuth with the marine compass and the elevation according to the Alden satellite dish manual. I can't think of anything better.
Question: does the TNTSAT card stick out of its slot by about 2 cm (barcode visible) at your place? -
Yes, that's right, the card protrudes 2 cm barcode up. It is well recognized in the settings menu but shows unknown pairing..
