Histogram, secondary axis, overlap

Solved

Hello,

I am using Excel 2007.

I created a histogram with a secondary axis for the y.

The problem is that the bars overlap, meaning they are one on top of the other. I would like them to be side by side. I tried playing with the % of overlap, and nothing works.

The only solution I found is to create a second separate histogram, with no fill, and paste it on top of the first one. Visually, it looks nice, but I don't find it optimal.

Does anyone have a better solution?

Thank you,

      I tried a bit of tinkering:
      We have the x-coordinates in A, the two series in B and C.
      * insert an empty column after column B;
      * assign the secondary axis to the shifted series in D;
      * set the first series to overlap series at -100% (separate) and the interval width to 0% (no interval);
      * for the third series, set the interval width to 200%.

      This makeshift solution, which ultimately isn't one, also helped out a friend.
      Maybe I'll make a technical sheet for it...
