Hello everyone,
I’m trying to create stacked histograms for work, and I’ve encountered a problem. Whether I’m using Excel or OpenOffice, the histogram bars are so thin that they are barely visible! I don’t think it’s a data formatting issue because I’ve tried adjusting the bar width, but nothing seems to work. I’m attaching the result I got because I’m pulling my hair out!
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,
The X-axis is a chronological axis (date axis), so the width of a bar corresponds to 1 day relative to several years for the range of the abscissa. By default, the choice of this option is that of Excel or Calc: they recognize dates.
The remedy is to choose a "Category" type axis, which can be found in the axis formatting or chart options.
An attached file using the Cjoint.com service would have been more effective than an image.

Thank you, 7 years later you save me precious minutes of work!
