Hello,

I've been experiencing a problem recently; less than a month ago, I received a wonderful 94CM LCD TV that was working perfectly, and since this morning, I have an issue. There’s no backlight, I have sound and picture; if I use my phone (iPhone) with the flash, I can see an image. I managed to start it up with a hairdryer (in the vents)
but tonight, nothing works. I’m stubborn, I've spent over 4 hours trying to turn it on since midnight with no success; it just won’t light up... Thank you for helping me if anyone has a trick I'm all ears.

PS: Will the repair be expensive?
PPS: It’s still connected via HDMI to my PS3, otherwise it’s always on cable (DTT)
PPPS: I turned it on with all the cables disconnected, still no backlight...

LCD/94Cm/LG/37LF65. => No longer under warranty...

<config>Windows 7 / Internet Explorer</config>

Hello, I just took it apart and I noticed that both capacitors of the inverter were bulging... After taking it apart, I managed to get an image and backlight... This lasted 10 minutes, then I heard a crack from the inverter and a spark. Now the TV turns on and there's sound and picture, but this time the backlight tries to turn on then cuts off immediately... For 2 seconds I see HDMI 1 then it shuts off right away... If I change both capacitors, is there a chance it will work again?

Thank you, I'm waiting for a quick response so I can find these capacitors.

Thanks and have a good day :)
