One of my contacts is not receiving my texts. Solved

Hello,

I have a Blackberry Curve, the latest model, my contacts receive my messages except for one. However, I receive SMS from this contact, and when I try to send him a message, I don't get any error report. They are marked as sent. This person has a basic Samsung phone. What could be the issue?

I have already done some research online but couldn't find any concrete answers to my problem.

I have the same problem with just one contact (the only one I shouldn't have, lol). With all the others, it works fine. I'm with Free and my phone is a Sony Xperia. Sometimes she sends me messages and I never receive them, but it depends on the time :/ I've tried several settings but nothing... I don't know where it's coming from.

Hello everyone, most people have trouble receiving SMS from certain contacts.
The best solution is to do the following:

Tip for iPhone:

1st method
If you have an iPhone, turn off your device, then remove the SIM card, wait a few seconds for the iPhone to be completely off, wait about 20 seconds, after waiting, put your SIM card back in, and connect your iPhone to your computer and let it turn on by itself. If your iPhone doesn’t turn on as expected when connected to your computer, turn it on manually and wait for it to be fully on, then try sending yourself an SMS to see if it works. If the first method doesn’t work, move to the second method.

2nd method
The second method is to enable 3G by going to
Settings>General>Network>Enable 3G
If some of you have 3G enabled, go to the 3rd method.

3rd method
The 3rd method is to reset the SMS application by going to the phone application
and entering this:
*#5005*7672# and hit Call
Then a number will display like this: +33660003000 depending on the operator (Bouygues).
Then dial **5005*7672*+33660003000*# and hit Call
and wait for the loading...
After the loading is finished, restart your device and try sending yourself an SMS again. If it works for you and the person concerned does not receive your SMS, the problem is not with you but with the other person who is not receiving your SMS or vice versa. In this case, ask your friend(s), colleague(s), or family members to reset their settings to default as this can often resolve the SMS issue. Otherwise, the last method is to completely reset your device by restoring it and installing the latest update that Apple offers, like 6.0.1, which will solve your problem.

Tip for other phones:

For those who have another phone like Samsung Galaxy Ace, BlackBerry, etc., the solution is to manipulate by resetting your phone by going into the settings and setting everything to default and turning off your phone and turning it back on. Don’t forget to remove your SD card and SIM card, and if your phone doesn't start without a SIM card, take an unusable SIM card; it may work very well.

My mom wasn't receiving my texts, and while digging around, I found out you need to enable the setting: receive spam.

So I have the same problem with my phone, my girlfriend has an Xperia, and for her, I made her delete my phone number. I had her add it back with a spelling mistake in the name, restart the phone, I sent her a message, nothing in the inbox, but in Contacts next to her phone number, the little message icon, I clicked on it and I retrieved her messages there.
