Hello,
I bought a new Samsung D8000 TV three weeks ago.
It was stunning at first, but four days ago a purple vertical line appeared. I contacted customer service, and they are coming on Tuesday. There has been no impact on the screen, nothing at all. I'm having doubts about my retailer. I'm wondering if they sold me a display model.
Can you tell me the process to find out how long the TV has been used? I know it exists, but I couldn’t find it online.

Don't try to ask yourself this kind of questions, the product sold is under warranty, your seller has an obligation of results and services. Return the product for repair or exchange. You do not have to pay for either the trip or the repairs.
As far as possible, it would be preferable to get a refund and buy another brand. Insist if necessary.

Sorry I couldn't write earlier, thank you in any case for responding.
In the meantime, the technician came by this morning and simply replaced the television.
