Hello everyone!
I would like to ask my question on this forum. I have already done some research but without success.
I am currently writing a paper with Word 2011 for Mac. I have many footnotes and some are split across two pages. How can I change this to avoid this phenomenon?
Thank you!
Configuration: Mac OS X / Safari 534.53.10

Hello
It's that the footnotes are too long and no longer have space on the page.
Without seeing the document, it's hard to guide you except to adjust the text to move these footnote references to the beginning of the page.

However, the note is only 7 lines high in Cambria 11.
Is there no option to disable note splitting?
Thank you.

Re,
It is only 7 lines, but are there any others before?
Check the layout: the footer, no empty paragraphs in the notes, the style should be in "footnote" (smaller font), etc...
But rather look here for a whole list of parameters to check and test what would be applicable in your case https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/196720
