Thomson PVR Recording

cricri -

Hello,

I bought a Thomson 22 hs 4246 C television with PVR function + an external multimedia hard drive.
It is impossible to record because the television says "feature not available"
whether live or in delayed mode.
Thank you for your help

    Hello,

it is better to make recordings on "normal" external hard drives
    or on USB sticks.

The malfunction may come from the Multimedia Hard Drive, which is designed for playback on the TV but not for recording.

    Best regards

In fact, the TV must be set to receive TNT exclusively for it to work.

What does that mean? Because I have the same problem! And it seems to me that I only installed it with TNT.

    Hello everyone,

I have the same problem as Cricri... except that I have a Thomson 32FU5253 TV: http://www.darty.com/nav/achat/hifi_video/televiseurs-led/grand_ecran_led/thomson_32fu5253_led.html

Anyway, I wanted to (for the first time) test recording by connecting a USB stick.
But no matter what channel I choose, and whether I select "time-shift recording or live recording," it displays "functionality unavailable"???
Yet, I followed all the steps (configuration, etc...). As for the USB stick, it's 2 GB (so that's not the issue either)

    Could someone enlighten me?

Thanks in advance for your help.

      Hello,

on your link, it is specified:
"The integrated digital recorder (PVR) in the television offers the possibility of recording programs directly onto an external hard drive connected to the TV's USB port."

The issue likely comes from your 2 GB flash drive, as it's insufficient in capacity and may not be fast enough as a recording medium.

It's not a problem of gigabytes: I just bought an external hard drive of 1 TB, and it's not working!!!
