Nintendo DSi Screen Issues

Hello everyone,
I have a problem with my Nintendo DSi: for about a week now, when I turn it on, both screens are "fuzzy." I don't understand how this could have happened since it happened suddenly: I just turned off my DSi which was working and when I turned it back on... both screens were fuzzy. It must be the screens since there is always sound and the bottom screen is still touch-sensitive. When I leave it on for too long, it turns off by itself even though the power light is blue, so I have to recharge it; right now I'm letting it fully discharge, but I doubt it will help...
Do you know what happened? Should I take apart my DSi to fix it? Is it covered by the warranty?
Thanks in advance
PS: there are no scratches on my screens, I take care of it ;)

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 10.0.2

Good evening
the 2 screens are down at the same time, plus it starts weird
possible oxidation issue with the connectors of the 2 screens
but the problem that bothers me is that if the upper screen of the DS Lite or DSi is touched, the DS goes into protection mode and should not turn on, and the charge light flashes and then cuts off
replacement of the screens

Hello to you,
first of all, thank you for your response; but I didn't quite understand your second paragraph :S
Otherwise, do you know how this could have happened?

Good evening
(possible oxidation problem with the connectors of the 2 screens)
if your console has been touched by water it oxidizes and can lead to white screens or others and sometimes makes it impossible to power on
I think the only way is to open it up to see the problem and also look underneath the battery for any signs of water or oxidation
because without desoxidation with a special product it may not work

It's strange because I've never touched water with my DSi...
and what kind of oxidation traces could there be? Because I don't notice anything abnormal...

Possible oxidation due to water or drop or update
Finding a repairer is rare that 2 LCD screens fail at the same time on DSi XL

Yes, I plan to send it to Nintendo's customer service.
