Windows activation ID not displaying.

Hello,
I reinstalled an XP Pro OEM sp1 on my PC after a complete crash. I had previously updated my PC by adding a video card and adding a bit of RAM.
My problem occurs at the end of the installation once my PC is started. When I want to log into my account, it asks me to activate my Windows. So I choose to activate it by phone, but my 6-digit installation ID that I need to provide to the technical service never appears...
The technical service directed me to the Microsoft website for personal assistance because they couldn't do anything. (They did confirm that my license key was valid.)

Do you still have access to your office and your programs? Or not at all?
And another question, does the procedure go exactly like this:
"Procedure:
*Choose the method By phone,
*Select your country, which will allow you to get the number to call,
*Dial the phone number,
*In the dialogue window, you have an installation number, groups of digits, in step 3, that you need to enter on the phone keypad,
*The system checks the validity of your license against the entry you just made,
*Then it gives you groups of digits to enter in the Confirmation ID Number,
*When all the ID groups are correctly entered, you can validate everything and your license is now active."
And one more question, do you not have the option to activate it online?
