Activate the numeric keypad on my ASUS laptop. Solved

Question

Hello dear souls of goodwill,

While fiddling (to put it mildly - for about
eight hours - due to a compatibility issue, I believe), with the successful goal of installing voice recognition software, I must have, without realizing it, accidentally deleted my numeric keypad, which no longer works, by pressing several keys at once, no doubt.

If anyone has an idea of what might have happened, I would be very grateful if you could enlighten me a bit by explaining how I can solve this problem.

Are those the blue keys in the middle of the keyboard?
If so, try Fn+Num Lock....

Hello everyone!
I had the same issue with my numeric keypad and the little solution is to go to the accessibility options -> make the keyboard easier to use and to deactivate the "turn on mouse keys" box
you can access it by pressing num lock for about 10 seconds, a window will open with a shortcut to numeric options (blue text at the bottom of the window)
there you go, hoping this will help some of you out there ;)

Hello, My numeric keypad hadn't been working for a few days, and I managed to get it back up and running. First of all, I should specify that I've been working on an Asus X551MA laptop for about 2 years, and I installed the famous Win 10 a few months ago.
Open the Control Panel, click on Ease of Access Center, click on Make the mouse easier to use, then uncheck the following box: Turn on Mouse Keys, and finalize by clicking OK.
Now the Num Lock key works.
