Hello,
I have an HP Envy17. After several manipulations, my numeric keypad stopped working. The problem is not with HP or the Win7 that I have on my PC. It simply comes from a box I checked while playing "the apprentice sorcerer."

Solution:
- 1- Start menu
- 2- Control panel
- 3- Ease of Access Center
- 4- Under EXPLORE ALL SETTINGS click on "Make the keyboard easier to use"
- 5- Under the line CONTROL MOUSE WITH THE KEYBOARD uncheck the box "Turn on Mouse Keys".
... And everything goes back to normal.
