I don't have a Num Lock key on my keyboard.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well during this lockdown period.
Here’s my situation, I need to create the copyright symbol using my keyboard shortcut for one of my assignments. However, when I press Alt and 0169 simultaneously, nothing happens. In fact, no matter what keyboard shortcut I try, nothing works, no symbol appears.
I've checked various forums and tried a bit of everything I've come across, to no avail... The last solution seems to be to press the fn + Num Lock keys and then do Alt + number. However, my problem is that I don't have a Num Lock key on my keyboard. And I can't find a way to resolve this online... So I'm turning to you, you're my last hope haha.
My laptop is a HP Spectre 13 inches.

    Good evening,

    Without a numeric keypad, the key codes are unusable.
    The simplest way is to use the character map:
    Type win + R and in the window type charmap. Then select the character and copy it to the clipboard.

    Another method:
    1) Activate the on-screen keyboard: Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard (scroll down to the bottom left and turn on the keyboard).
    2) When the keyboard is on screen, click on Options and bring up the numeric keypad.
    3) To get your character: hold down the alt key on your physical keyboard and type 0169 on the virtual keyboard's numeric keypad.

    Not immediate, but it works!
