Hello, I have a big problem. I’ve set up a Wi-Fi connection and the manual tells me to go to this website http://192.168.1.1. Since I have a Linksys WRT54G router, I shouldn’t enter a username but the admin password. However, my problem is that even though I enter the password, I can’t connect to this page. A red page appears and it says
"401 Unauthorized
Authorization required. " I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me what to do. Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I think that to initialize it, you need to press next to the WAN port of your router (if it’s a Linksys on a button marked Reset). Using a paperclip, press this button while your router is powered on for at least five seconds.
Enable DHCP on your workstation and connect behind your router to the LAN port with a straight Ethernet cable (not via Wi-Fi).
Since the address is not always 192.168 ..., press Windows+R and then
Once connected, launch the browser by entering in the address bar (not in Google but in the top bar): 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1 or the address retrieved previously) and confirm. Normally, a dialog box should appear.
Enter the default username and password for your box (often written underneath the box, it’s usually admin as Username and admin as Password).
Try the following credentials in order, being careful with case sensitivity (Uppercase / lowercase):
User</td>Passwordadminadminadminadmin1234AdminAdminAdminadminrootrootRootRootRootrootrootRootrootadmin</table>
