Hello,
Hello,
I have a huge problem... it's been almost a year since I left SFR (since I canceled my mobile contract)
however, the lovely team of this service didn't inform me about the cancellation of my mobile insurance, which means that for the past year, I've been paying 5.50 euros every month
I would like to know how to cancel my insurance contract and whether they will reimburse me or not?
Thank you in advance to everyone!!!

Same problem with my boyfriend, yet SFR had specified in their confirmation letter to cancel the insurance, see below:
"If you hold an insurance for your mobile, managed by SPB, you must inform them of the cancellation of your SFR line. To do this, you can contact them by phone at 0970 808 873 or by mail at the following address:
SPB Service SFR
76095 Le Havre CEDEX "
Following my call, no issues, just need to send the cancellation proof along with a refund request.
There you go ^^-
Hello, the same goes for me. It's been a year and a half since I canceled my subscription, and they keep charging me. Did you get refunded easily? Is this the right number? I've found several, and I've moved abroad, so it's not easy to reach them via the 4-digit numbers like 10 13... Thank you very much.

Hello,
Here is part of the Chatel law concerning the termination of telephone insurance contracts. I am in the same situation and I have never received any correspondence from Gras Savoye regarding my rights not to renew the contract. According to this law, the consumer can cancel their insurance contract free of charge or other penalties as long as they have not received this letter. I think that referring to this law should work.
Otherwise, it should be specified that if you do not obtain satisfaction, you will send a copy of this letter and their negative response (?) to consumer associations, DGCCRF, etc.

Good luck to everyone.
Article L113-15-1
* Created by Law n°2005-67 of January 28, 2005 - art. 2 JORF February 1, 2005 in effect on July 28, 2005
For contracts with tacit renewal covering individuals outside their professional activities, the deadline for the insured to exercise their right to terminate the contract must be reminded with each annual premium or contribution due notice. When this notice is sent less than fifteen days before this date, or when it is sent after this date, the insured is informed with this notice that they have a period of twenty days from the date of sending this notice to terminate the contract renewal. In this case, the termination period starts from the date indicated on the postmark.
When this information has not been sent to them in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph, the insured can terminate the contract, without penalties, at any time from the date of renewal by sending a registered letter to the insurer. The termination takes effect the day after the date on the postmark.
The insured is required to pay the part of the premium or contribution corresponding to the period during which the risk has occurred, a period calculated up to the effective date of the termination. If applicable, the insurer must refund the insured, within thirty days of the effective termination date, the part of the premium or contribution corresponding to the period during which the risk did not occur, calculated from the said effective date. In the absence of reimbursement under these conditions, the amounts due accrue interest at the legal rate.
The provisions of this article do not apply to life insurance or to group contracts and other collective operations.
NOTE:
Law 2005-67 of January 28, 2005 art. 7:
I: The present provisions come into effect six months from the date of promulgation of this law.
II: the present provisions apply to ongoing contracts and their renewal as of the date of promulgation.

Hello. I called 0970 808 873 and spoke to a friendly and skilled person who solved my problem right away. I highly recommend them. Today, I am writing a letter to SFR SPB to express how satisfied I was with the answers they provided and especially with the kindness they showed!!! Let's not always moan but hope, as there are still good people out there.

Hello,
I tested it, a simple call to 0970 808 873 is enough to cancel, it's quick and efficient.
However, since SPB is willing to do anything to recover a month's subscription, if you call on the 1st of the month, you still pay the entire month... -
I also canceled my SFR contract several years ago and I am still being charged €3/month. Various calls to SFR have yielded no results, as has a registered letter, aside from a phone call where I was informed that SFR had nothing to do with the insurance company. The latter (spb), contacted this morning at 0232742020, informed me that I had signed a tacit renewal clause in 2007 and that therefore they were not required to send me an annual letter before the due date. The regulatory reference mentioned in the forum does not apply to them!

Hello,
I am also in the process of canceling my mobile insurance with SFR!
And like for any contract, you need to send the cancellation request by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, including the reference and number, and attach the cancellation proof (the last SFR bill indicating that you have indeed canceled on date X)
That's it!
