Logitech Unifying Connection Issue - Keyboard

Hello,

After extensive research online, I haven't been able to find a solution to my problem, which is why I'm turning to you :)

I have 2 Logitech devices, namely a Performance MX mouse and a Solar K570 keyboard.
Both are wireless and each has a Logitech Unifying USB dongle (which theoretically allows you to use just one dongle for all Logitech devices).
After experiencing some motherboard issues, I formatted my PC and reinstalled the mouse and keyboard each on their dongles.
I thought I might as well exploit the Unifying system and that's when the problems began!
The Unifying software was able to detect my keyboard and mouse, but even following the steps in the program, when I got to the step where the keyboard needs to be turned Off and then On, the software could no longer detect it.
Indeed, it is impossible to detect the keyboard without its respective dongle, and the same goes for the mouse.
I then decoupled the keyboard from its receiver to pair it with that of the mouse.

Since then, I haven't been able to make the keyboard reappear; the computer doesn't detect it, its dongle doesn't detect it anymore, and the dongle for the mouse has never detected it anyway!
As a result, no keyboard on my desktop PC!

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you and have a good day.

Hello,

I personally have a stability issue: the keyboard disappears and then comes back.

That said, I've done some research on the subject.
The devices (keyboard, mouse...) are registered in a ROM in the Unifying dongles, and not in the system. I read somewhere that we are limited to a certain number of pairings, like 40 (it could be 20 or 30, I can't remember), beyond which you need to buy a new dongle.
Isn't your problem related to that?

Hi!
I'm reaching out to you because I have exactly the same problem, except that I've lost the USB for the keyboard, and when trying to reconnect everything to the mouse's USB, it's impossible to detect the keyboard.
Did you eventually find a solution?

Same problem with a K230 keyboard. I was switching it between two PCs, but one day it was impossible to get it to work on PC 1. I checked it on PC 2 and it worked. I unplugged it from PC 2, and since then it hasn't been recognized anywhere. It's detected, but not recognized; there's a screen with a yellow diamond...

Hello,

Thank you for your response.
The dongle is the small USB receiver that needs to be plugged into a USB port on the PC to detect the device.
Logitech Unifying technology actually allows you to plug in just one dongle for each of your peripherals (mouse, keyboard, numeric keypad...).
