how to preserve hyperlinks (from ppt to pdf)?

I’m having a little technical issue...

I can't keep the hyperlinks in my PowerPoint when I convert it to PDF. Is there a way to find a solution to this problem, please, as the links are very important?

I just tested it with OpenOffice 2.0.3 and it works perfectly.
(The links http://... work very well when you click on them).

I haven't tested with other types of links.

With OpenOffice it works well:

1) Launch OpenOffice Impress
2) Open the .PPT file
3) File menu > Export as PDF...

And that's it!

My links are used to transition from one slideshow to another: action buttons, basic hyperlinks ...

But when I convert my PPT to PDF in slideshow mode, none of my links work, and I find myself having to go page by page ....

For my part, I just retook the test: I converted my PPT to OpenOffice.org Impress, then I converted my slideshow to PDF.

Each slide remains static: none of my animations work and none of my action buttons either...

none of my animations work  ah.. that's normal: the PDF format is not made for that.  You can think of PDF = paper document.  So: No animations, music, videos, or interactive pages. Actually, it's to create an online catalog  PowerPoint on a website? Very bad idea. Not everyone has Microsoft Office. And not everyone is on Windows either.  If it's online, why not use HTML? Or even Flash (a bit heavier)?  HTML allows you to create navigable pages. To open links in Presentation (Impress) from Open Office, you need to ensure that they are in absolute mode (i.e. that the file path is complete, e.g. [C:\dossier_a\sous_dossier_b\sous_sous_dossier_c\fichier_à_ouvrir]).
If they were in relative mode, e.g. [..\..\..\dossier_a\fichier], you need to reset them all.
You must check this issue before exporting to .pdf format.
