Blue screen on digital camcorder

Hello,

I recently own a JVC GR-DF565 digital camcorder. When I turn on the device, a blue screen appears, but it’s impossible for me to see what I want to film on the screen or in the viewfinder.
Could someone please help me fix this problem?

    Put yourself in expert mode on the settings button.

    Hello
    Thank you for your reply. I just did it but on the screen it displays TAPE and it flashes and the screen is desperately blue......

    Put in a cassette.
