Good evening, I have a Galaxy S2 and when I call someone, they hear an echo on their phone. I've made other calls to different friends to confirm, and unfortunately, everyone hears this echo. I reset the phone by deleting all my apps, around a hundred, thinking that was the issue, but the echo is still there. Please, is there a solution to resolve this problem? Help me, please, thank you in advance.
I don't hear this echo, my interlocutors do, but it's coming from my phone.
Thank you all.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.7

The problem indeed comes from the phone. I have consulted several forums and the most effective solution is to disable the small ambient microphone located on the back of the device by going to the options menu at the bottom left (it’s an icon with a zigzag on it). You should also remove the silicone case if necessary, as it also mitigates the issue of reverberation. This is really a major flaw inherent in this device; it is truly scandalous that the salespeople in every operator store are not aware of it, or perhaps they prefer to refrain from mentioning it to avoid losing a sale, considering the price of the device, they must be making a good profit on it... We all need to rally together so that SAMSUNG finds an effective and definitive fix for this "bug" unique to this model, which is otherwise a very good phone that you immediately embrace with great pleasure... Hurry up Samsung: get to work!!! Deliver us from this echo plague... in trying to perfect too much, we end up achieving the opposite effect... Lionel PARIS 14th.
I hope Samsung has planned a fix for this issue in the latest OS update (ICS).
If the phone is rooted, there is a way to disable the ambient microphone permanently. Otherwise, it has to be done for every call.
But it is clearly not normal that it can't be used. So come on SAMSUNG, fix this issue for us!
