Hello, I've had Skyrim for a little while now, and I've never had any problems, but yesterday, I launched the game, selected continue, the loading screen appeared normally, and... that's it! Despite waiting for 15 minutes, the loading screen doesn't move!
Does anyone have a solution? I've tried restarting the game, the computer, using a different save file, even uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing works!
I should mention that I'm running on a dual-core 3.07 GHz with 4 GB of RAM.
Thanks in advance, I don't know what to do anymore!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Safari 535.7

Hi! Same problem as you, I still manage to play because I save 12 times a minute, quick auto-manual! (I'm exaggerating, but it's not far off), there's a patch supposed to come out 1.4 which should fix the problem, but I don't know how it appeared because I didn't have that before, just direct crashes (return to desktop).
There's a solution that says to set your playback device to not exceed 24bit 44100hz
"Right click on the speaker in the taskbar / playback devices / speakers / properties / advanced statistics / 24bit 44100hz

Hello, I had the same problem after installing the "build your house" mod. I can play by first loading an earlier save, and after loading it, I can then load the last save. I uninstalled the mod but it didn't change anything, and also I can't finish the main quest in Markarth because the guards lead me to the mine and the loading doesn't work either.

I've already experienced this bug; generally, it happens because Skyrim or the computer was abruptly shut down (power cut, in my case) while you were playing and after a quick save. To resolve the issue, I’m not sure it will work for you, but during the infinite loading screen, I pressed ctrl+alt+del, and then this is what appears (Windows 7)
